Chlorine Dioxide Gas

In addition to Ultraviolet Light products, we also utilize chlorine dioxide gas for decontamination. Our chlorine dioxide gas process is registered with the US EPA as a sterilant, capable of eliminating all viruses, bacteria, fungi and spores. Chlorine dioxide gas offers many benefits for decontamination. As a gas it is able to contact all surfaces within an area, including cracks and crevices. Like UV light, CD gas does not leave a residue so the area is safe to enter immediately upon completion. Many facilities utilize chlorine dioxide gas within dedicated rooms or use it in conjunction with a decontamination chamber such as the one shown on the right, where equipment and beds can be rolled in and decontaminated in as little as 1 hour.
